Lisa Howard is a lifestyle writer and freelance editor who works with custom and trade magazines, culinary marketing firms, publishers, and individuals. Her first cookbook, Healthier Gluten-Free, was published in 2014, and her second book, The Big Book of Healthy Cooking Oils, came out in fall 2015. She also served as the Chair of the Food Writers, Editors & Publishers section of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and as President of the Ann Arbor chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
In addition to her editorial work, as a health speaker and cooking instructor, she helps her fellow eaters understand where to find delicious ingredients, why those ingredients are just as nutritious as they are delicious, and how to prepare them.
