I earned a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College in 1997 and an AOS in Culinary Arts from the New England Culinary Institute in 2001. I am a freelance recipe developer, food stylist, and blogger specializing in healthy, seasonal cuisine. I develop the recipes and style and shoot the photographs on my website, www.healthyseasonalrecipes.com. I am a lover of food science, health, seasonality, and eating locally-grown food whenever possible. My family belongs to a CSA year-round and we eat locally, seasonally, and organically whenever possible. I am an avid gardener, group fitness instructor, and fitness junkie. I love hiking and cross-country skiing and spending time with my husband and two green-bean-eating daughters in Vermont. The recipes on this site are inspired by the way we eat in my home and the food that fuels and inspires me.
