About the Author
Mary Lou and Robert J. Heiss have been premium tea retailers since 1974. They are adventurous tea trekkers and food and travel writers, and they also present educational tea workshops and tastings around the country. They are the coauthors of The Story of Tea: A Cultural History and Drinking Guide and Hot Drinks. Mary Lou is also the author of Green Tea. When not traveling to source tea for their shop Tea Trekker, the Heisses make their home in Western Massachusetts where Robert's lively food radio program 'Off the Burner' can be heard each Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10 AM ET on WHMP1400 AM/96.9 FM.
